Husband-and-wife duo John and Desiree Chantarasak are the minds behind AngloThai, a project rooted in Thai flavours and British ingredients. With his dual Thai-British heritage, John brings a distinctive perspective to the kitchen, where exceptional ingredients from across the UK, including selections from Desiree’s family farm, form the foundation of each dish. Rooted in Thai flavours and techniques, the menu moves with the seasons, celebrating the wealth of world-class produce available from the British Isles. Dishes combine bold Thai flavours with contemporary presentation and innovative techniques while staying true to traditional Thai methods such as charcoal cooking, coconut smoking, and wok-hei (the breath of the wok).
