A.Wong

Two Michelin-starred restaurant, A.Wong is the home of the multi-award-winning cuisine of Chef Andrew Wong. Located where the neighbourhoods of London’s Victoria and Pimlico meet, the restaurant is minutes’ walk from the hustle of Victoria Underground, Train and Bus Stations.

The surrounding area has been at the forefront of modern Chinese restaurants in London for almost half a century, since the opening in the 1980s of nearby Hunan and Ken Lo’s Memories of China. For almost 30 successful years, Andrew’s parents also operated their family restaurant on Wilton Road in the same space that now houses A.Wong and is, in part, where Andrew grew up.

Taking the helm in 2012, Andrew has melded traditional dishes passed down through generations with years of meticulous research into ancient recipes and techniques. Using select Chinese and British produce and ingredients, dishes are created to celebrate his pride in China’s gastronomic heritage and the myriad flavours found within its 14 international borders. The result is a distinctly A.Wong style of cuisine with a series of contemporary and artistic interpretations that celebrate the wealth and diversity of China’s vast food culture.
