People People Brewing Co. opens 15th April in Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore

On April 15th, Burnt Ends Hospitality Group is opening People People Brewing Co., a new social brewery at Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore. The 9,000 sq ft space will house a working brewery and social space built around bringing people together through beer, food, and shared experiences.

Founded on the simple idea of bringing Beer to the People, the concept is envisioned as a quality-first destination, where beer is brewed on-site and served fresh from tank to tap, alongside a food programme and setting designed for everyday moments, from casual drinks to group celebrations and unhurried evenings.

The brewery is helmed by Dave Pynt, Chef and Founder of Burnt Ends Hospitality Group; Loh Lik Peng, Founder of Unlisted Collection; Pete Thew, brand builder and hospitality entrepreneur; and Jason Moy, brand and consumer strategist. Drawing from backgrounds across culinary craft, hospitality development, brand-building, and consumer strategy, the team brings a shared focus on thoughtful execution and creating a space that feels consistent, welcoming and easy to return to.

At the core of People People Brewing Co. is its brewing programme, led by Nick Calder-Scholes, an award-winning brewer with more than a decade of experience across the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. His work has earned multiple accolades, including Australian Brewer of the Year by Beer & Brewer in 2024. Nick oversees daily on-site brewing operations from recipe development to final pour, ensuring balance, consistency, and freshness across the range, anchoring the concept as a true working brewery in both process and practice.

THE BEER: FRESH FROM TANK TO TAP

All beers are produced in-house on custom-designed equipment, with guests able to observe the brewing process from grain to glass throughout the day. Served directly from five 1,500-litre tanks into custom-designed taps, each pour delivers a level of freshness unique to People People Brewing Co.

The brewing programme spans premium lagers, modern India Pale Ales (IPAs), experimental fruited sour beers, and barrel-aged stouts, structured across four distinct collections: Core, Seasonal, Workshop Series, and Founder’s Reserve.

The Core Collection establishes the foundation with highly drinkable staples such as Lager, Pale Ale, and IPA, executed with precision and consistency. Seasonal releases are shaped by collaboration and timing, while the Workshop Series explores smaller-batch techniques and stylistic variations. At its most limited, Founder’s Reserve expressions are developed as exclusive releases available only to Founding Members.

Selected pours highlight the range and intent of the programme, from a clean, balanced house PPBc Lager brewed with Saaz and Tettnang hops, to Passionfruit & Yuzu Sour, fruit-forward sour beers with bright acidity, and hop-driven California IPAs that deliver layered citrus and tropical character.

Nick Calder-Scholes, Head Brewer, adds: “Beer should feel inclusive and easy, but built on discipline and intent. At People People Brewing Co., it’s about creating something balanced and welcoming, something people can share and keep coming back to.”

THE FOOD: MADE TO MATCH THE POUR

Food plays an equally important role in the experience. Rooted in the Burnt Ends approach to cooking, the menu centres on casual, shareable dishes designed to complement the beers. Built around live wood-fired cooking, the offering brings depth, flavour, and smokiness to dishes intended to pair naturally with the brewery’s range.

At the heart of the kitchen are two wood-fired systems: a Classico oven for pizzas and fast bakes, and a Camino open-fire hearth with a central rotisserie and adjustable grills. Fire and movement remain visible throughout, reinforcing the connection between cooking and the overall brewery environment.

The menu features wood-fired sourdough pizza, signature rotisserie chicken, burgers, and bar bites suited for both individual orders and sharing. Signature dishes include a Miso Beef Short Rib Pizza with tangy tomato sauce and chimichurri, Lemon Thyme Roast Chicken basted with herb butter and served with jus, and Salt and Pepper Squid with green chilli, spring onion, and lemon aioli.

Dishes are designed to complement the beers rather than compete with them, with wood-fire cooking and preparation in full view reflecting the same transparency that defines the brewery. The menu remains approachable and social, built for sharing, lingering, and enhancing the overall experience of drinking well.

A SPACE AND PROGRAMME BUILT FOR EVERYDAY OCCASIONS

People People Brewing Co. is conceived as a gathering space that evolves throughout the day, where brewing and hospitality sit side by side. The open layout integrates brewing into the environment, with tanks remaining visible as part of the overall space, reinforcing its identity as a working brewery.

Located at Resorts World Sentosa’s WEAVE, the brewery is accessible without the Sentosa island entry fee, with a direct Grab drop-off point at its entrance.

The layout is designed for flexibility, allowing guests to move easily between indoor and outdoor areas, the bar, and communal tables. Clear sightlines, open circulation, and acoustics support the space’s ability to scale from everyday visits to busier sessions.

The space is designed to be social, whether guests are dropping in for a quick beer after work, meeting friends, catching a live music set, watching the big game, or attending an event. It accommodates solo visitors, small groups, and larger gatherings, with a capacity of 180 seated and up to 300–400 standing.

Alongside this, ongoing programming further activates the space across different occasions, bringing together formats such as:

  • Sunday Socials - a family-friendly format with children’s activities, sports screenings, and a kids-eat- free offering throughout the day

  • Saturday Long Lunch - long-format lunches with two-hour free-flow drinks and in-venue entertainment

  • Woodfire Wednesdays - midweek sessions centred on wood-fired cooking from the brewery’s wood-fired kitchen

  • Thirsty Thursdays - brewery tours and guided tastings led by Head Brewer Nick Calder-Scholes, offering a closer look at the brewing process

BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER BEFORE THE DOORS OPEN

Ahead of the opening, People People Brewing Co. has launched a pre-opening membership programme designed to build an early community around the brewery. The programme includes three tiers: Founding Members, Friends of People People, and Beer Drop, offering varying levels of access to beers, events, and experiences.

Founding Members (limited to 100) receive the most comprehensive privileges, including exclusive events, pre-opening access, guided tastings with the Head Brewer, and first access to new releases. Friends of People People and Beer Drop tiers extend access through annual beer allocations, complimentary pours, and invitations to events and tastings.

People People Brewing Co. officially opens on 15 April 2026 at Resorts World Sentosa. Further details on launch programming and opening events will be shared soon.
