Makris Athens by Domes announces 4-Hands Dinner Series in 2026

Starting with Chef Dominik Hartmann of Two Michelin Star Magdalena, Switzerland

Makris Athens by Domes announces the launch of its 2026 Four-Hands Dinner Series with an exceptional opening collaboration. On Tuesday, 27 January 2026, the restaurant will welcome Two-Michelin-Star Chef Dominik Hartmann and his team of Restaurant Magdalena in Switzerland for an exclusive one-night-only culinary event alongside Makris Executive Chef Petros Dimas and team.

This dinner marks the first instalment of a highly anticipated, curated international programme for 2026, in which Makris Athens will host a selection of distinguished chefs from across Europe. While additional collaborations will be revealed later in the year, the Makris x Magdalena dinner serves as an exciting first look into a season dedicated to creative exchange, craft, and global gastronomic dialogue you shouldn't miss.

Chef Dominik’s cooking at Magdalena has earned acclaim for its clarity, for its bold, robust flavors and honest expression of regional Swiss ingredients, positioning the restaurant among Switzerland’s most progressive fine-dining destinations. At Makris Athens, Chef Petros Dimas has built a distinctive, creative language rooted in Greek seasonality and the restaurant’s own agricultural sources, elevating local produce through modern technique and elegant restraint.

Together, the two chefs will craft a collaborative tasting menu designed exclusively for this evening. Diners can expect dishes like butternut squash with sea buckthorn and potatoes in Brienzer beurre blanc, alongside Hellenic specialities, including Red Hellenic Shrimp with Persian Ossetra Caviar and 14-day dry-aged mutton. The menu will seamlessly weave Alpine purity with Mediterranean vibrancy, highlighting the chefs’ shared philosophies through precision and ingredient-led cooking. A thoughtfully curated wine pairing, selected by Master of Wine Yiannis Karakasis, will accompany the experience.
